The Dells came to visit Washington!

Our friends, The Dells, came to visit this past weekend from Rexburg, Idaho. They came on Wednesday and stayed through Monday. They have two little girls around the ages of Melia and McKenzie. We went to the Children's Museum on Thursday, we did a little shopping on Friday down at the Woodburn outlets (AMAZING!), Saturday was an interesting day (haha!) and Sunday was just a relaxing day! Here is a recap of the events with some pictures!

Children's Museum
Well we started out by brushing the crocodile's teeth, which Melia has been scared to do before and she finally just climbed up and did it!

After that, we went to the Water exhibit. They have aprons that they can put on so they don't get wet and all the girls LOVED this exhibit!

Then we headed over to the hospital area with the babies and ambulance. The girls loved all of it! McKenzie really liked the phone and computer she could play with!

So this photo above is a funny story... it is where you walk into the exhibit. Melia would not go in, she was at the point where she was about to scream and was holding on to me like she was going to die. I asked her why and she said there was a big monkey... yeah, the lady with the big hair sitting there. I had to take her around to show it was a woman, not a monkey!

The bigger girls went on with the moms to go face paint, play with clay, play at the theater and shopping at the grocery store! The younger girls went a played in the baby room with the dads. Oh! We also went into the building room, where Sadie went straight in and demolished a boy's log cabin that he had just made. We felt REALLY bad! At the end, we went and played in the tree house then we left because we wanted to beat the traffic!

The Rest of the Weekend

On Friday night, Linzi and I took Melia and Rylee to Dairy Queen after a failed attempt at going to the Friday Night Farmer's Market... the girls loved it though!

The older girls also got matching pj's on our shopping trip. They also loved reading stories on the computer... nickjr.com... AWESOME! Melia also got a new hat for the winter and loves to wear it around the house!

We loved having the Dells come and visit and we definitely miss them! The girls love to play together. We make it a yearly thing to visit!

P.S. More info about us... I am starting to sub any day now, Treven has decided to go part time at school because of the non resident tuition being 10,000 a semester and he gets residency in April, and he will be getting a full time job or 2 part time jobs while he is going part-time to school. We are hoping that we get the transporter job that he applied for at the hospital. It would be perfect, calls for interviews should be this week (crossing our fingers). Please keep us in your prayers! Melia's glasses should be getting in this week!
